If I have an email account set to forward to another one at a different provider, and then mistakenly set up the second account to forward to the first one (perhaps to an alias of that account), what would happen? Would there be an endless recursive loop of some kind, with forwards going back and forth like a candle between two mirrors? Would it just go on until one account or the other reached its storage limit? Or would there be some other negative consequence? I almost did this by mistake, and now I'm curious about what would have happened.

cb|Emailogin / Hacked Email Account
« on: October 11, 2017, 01:30:12 PM »
I think my daughter's hotmail email account has been hacked and I don't know what to tell her to prevent future issues or damage.

I received an email from her today and in the From: field it said her first and last name <jo@attic-inspirations.co.uk>

The message body said "I thought you would enjoy it .
The .uk email address is not her address and I don't know how they got her real first and last name.

Can anyone tell me how to have her proceed to safeguard her hotmail email address?

Thanks,

Chit Chat / Which is essential fof safe and better drug use. keep up
« on: October 10, 2017, 12:24:05 PM »
The term "cotton fever" is only used by people in America. "Cotton fever" refers to a specific bacteria that lives on cotton (Enterobacter agglomerans). Problem with referring to these reactions as "cotton fever" is that they frequently occur in people who are not using cotton at any stage of the injecting process. Using the term "cotton fever" confuses people who then assume that the cotton is somehow the culprit. In reality, it could be contamination from any stage of the injecting process inclduing bacteria on the surface of the skin, a cut in the gear, unsterile water source, contaminated filter etc.
The term "dirty hit" covers the whole range of possible causes for these types of reactions, and is probably a better way of describing it than "cotton fever".

Chit Chat / The Home School Mom’s own free printable planning pages
« on: October 10, 2017, 12:23:42 PM »
Your students will have the opportunity to learn how to read and write. Then, I'd check out the week's work and make a small notation up in the corner in pencil showing the # of homeschool days completed so far.
The Home School Mom's own free printable planning pages are also a great choice because they are backed by years of experience in the field.
Maybe your children struggle with messy handwriting. No worries. Digital planners abound. TheHomeSchoolMom has a free spreadsheet planner.

Chit Chat / Performance For The S&P This Past Week

With how much the greenback has been sold, traders won't be looking for much - non-farm payroll growth is expected to rise by only 180K versus 222K in June. As long as job growth exceeds 170K AND wage growth rises 0.3% or more AND the unemployment rate drops from 4.4% to 4.3%, the dollar will soar. However if wage growth grows by 0.2% or less and the unemployment rate holds steady, even another 200K increase in payrolls may not be enough to save the dollar. Aside from NFPs, ADP, pending home sales, manufacturing and non-manufacturing ISM numbers are scheduled for release - all of these numbers will be used to shape the market's expectations for the jobs report.

Chit Chat / The Dollar's Fate With Weaker Than Expected Growth Sending

Seems like the big biotechs would rather negotiate partnerships with small companies that have developed cancer drugs instead of acquiring them wholly. 1) Signals that the price of these small companies is too high, 2) Worry about drug prices that they'll be able to sell at. I keep seeing price tags in 0,000s. Gilead got in deep trouble for selling an ,000 drug that actually cured disease.

General SMF discussion / Browser back button issue
« on: October 09, 2017, 10:14:33 AM »
Hello,

I have a simple web form that contains textbox, button, and a label.

In the code behind I check if the textbox has numeric data then if it does then check if the length is 10 if it is 10 then redirect to a different page. If it is not 10 then the label will display an error message.

I run the application and try to make the label display the error message by entering 1 digit and it displays the error message ok. Then I add 9 numbers to make it 10 and it works and redirects to the other page but when I hit the browser back button the label still holds the error message even though I reset the label.text property to "" the first line in the button click event.

Any ideas?

I've been debugging this code for at least 3 hours (with a debugger and print statements) now and I'm stumped. I tried tracing the addresses and recording the results on paper but I'm still not sure what's wrong. I'm fairly new to c++ so I'm probably missing something obvious to most experienced C++ programmers. I'm trying to make a linked list of FBLUsers. Here is my Input (the CREATE command with its params and the DEBUG command used to print the contents of the nodes(FBLUsers) starting at the head)

Chit Chat / Starting a Graphic design Business
« on: October 06, 2017, 01:21:47 PM »
I am new in Small business forums. I need some help. Me and my best friend are graphic designers and we want to start our own graphic design firm from home. I have a question regarding the share of profit that each of us will get from the business. Actually my partner will mostly be involved in finding clients(both online and otherwise), getting works from them and doing business dealings with them. And I will mostly be doing the actual work, that is, making the designs for the clients. So my question is how are we going to share the profit between us? Will it be fifty fifty share? Will I get more as I will be doing the hard work(designing) and my partner get less as he will be doing the soft work(hunting for work and business dealings). To be precise, how shall we divide the share? I am confused.
Please help.
Thanks

Chit Chat / UFT 12.5 causes IE9 on Windows7 to crash
« on: October 06, 2017, 01:20:58 PM »
I am using UFT 12.5 on a Windows 7 64bit PC. When using UFT against IE9 an “Internet Explorer has stopped working” error is returned. This happens even when using the Object Spy on an open browser. This often locks the entire PC requiring a forced restart.
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get UFT to work with IE9?
Thanks
